The artist is known for his trademark sculptures made out of wooden planks. His installations are built to provoke reaction and to intervene in the daily life of passersby confronted with his sculptures. Thira Stairway - Santorini Island

The capital and touristic centre of Santorini Island, Thira (also called Fira), is located high on the edge of the huge ancient volcano caldera rim. Over 850 m long stairs lead up the crater wall, 587 steps, from the old port of Skala Thira to the town. [Source]

Amazing Moominhouse

Palau de la Música Catalana

The Palau de la Música Catalana is a concert hall in Barcelona. The design of the Palau is typical of Catalan modernism in that curves predominate over straight lines, dynamic shapes are preferred over static forms, and rich decoration that emphasizes floral and other organic motifs is used extensively. Italian Baroque architecture

Seljuk architecture

The architecture can be found in a vast area stretching from the Hindu Kush to eastern Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf. The homeland of the Seljuk architecture was Turkmenistan and Iran, where the first permanent Seljuk buildings were built. Unfortunately the Mongol invasions and earthquakes destroyed most of these buildings and only a few remain. In 1063 Isfahan was established as capital of the Great Seljuk Empire under Alp Arslan. Wat Phra Kaew

It's also known as "Temple of the Emerald Buddha." Adjoining the Grand Palace, the temple is the greatest spectacle of Bangkok. There are over 100 brightly-colored buildings, all unique unto themselves. Built in 1782 during Rama I's reign, the Emerald Buddha, which gives it its name, is traced to India, centuries after Lord Buddha attained Nirvana and then had it enshrined in Bangkok. [Source]

Palace of Versailles
